Redefining social design theory

Ulm, 21. September 2009  (ifg) – Design summit at IFG Ulm: Dr. Regula Stempfli, the renowned swiss political scientist and FG-director drew a positive balance of this years’ IFG ULM hearing. “We see not only an economic and political crisis, but a design crisis as well”, explains the IFG-director and head of the IFG Ulm advisory committee. In the design branch and visual arts representation gets crucial and forms reality. Therefore, we need to renew moral clarity on the basis of a binding design theory that allows to draw graphic conclusions.”

With her speech "From Evil to Reality – Designing Wallstreet" Regula Stämpfli provided thought-provoking impulses to the participants of the IFG-hearing amoungst which were renowned Ruedi Baur, Daniel van der Velden as well as Professor Philipp Oswalt, director of the Bauhaus Dessau trust.
