In 2005, the activities of the International Design Forum Ulm came under the heading »transformation«. Similar to the year before, there was a public and a closed meeting:
Professor Dr. Peter Sloterdijk, president of the Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung (State University of Design, Media and Arts) Karlsruhe, Germany, held a public lecture on Thursday, 22 September 2005, 20 h, at the Stadthaus Ulm.
On the following day (23 September 2005), IFG Ulm hosted a non-public hearing in the building of the former Ulm School of Design (HfG) with representatives of the international design, architecture and media scenes. 33 personalities from 11 countries took part in this event, also covered by the programmatic title »transformation«. The hearing was devoted to the programme for project promotion by IFG Ulm, which will commence in 2006. IFG’s Advisory Board discussed that programme in its meeting on 24 September 2005 and adopted the outline strategy. You can download this programme here (PDF).
